The title was derived from the phrase, “a day late and a dollar short.” Between work and home life, blog life has been a distant memory. But at least now I can share my thoughts on The Watchmen to all of you who have decided not to see it based on the million other thoughts [...]

I’ve been playing Viva Pinata for the DS over the past week, and I just wanted to reap praise on this little title that could. What, you say, little? Hasn’t Rare’s franchise been in the critical limelight for years already? Yes, and well, I thought the original Viva Pinata game for the Xbox 360 was [...]

What if all movie reviews were like this?
After nearly 20 years of anticipation, George Lucas finally whets the appetite of millions of fanboys worldwide with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace to theaters everywhere. Although this latest installment has it’s share of issues, it proves absence makes the heart grows fonder [...]

Or, “How to Kill a Franchise in Two-and-a-Half Hours.”
Or, “Goodbye, Hobbit.”
Or, “Why the Blu-ray fight just got a whole lot tougher.”
Like most of America, I plunked down my hard-earned cash and valuable free time to watch this disaster of a movie. And after the smoke of the box office rush has settled, it sounds like [...]
I started writing this post about the awesomeness that is Earth Defence Force 2017 a few weeks ago, but after my play session yesterday I’m compelled to finish it. Yet Gunpey sat like the neglected middle child, just waiting [...]

Just an interesting observation:
Shadow the Hedgehog got a 32/40 from Famitsu. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the Xbox got a 31/40.
Go figure…
EGM, in celebration of their 200th issue, have published an article listing “The Greatest 200 Videogames of Their Time”. In actuality, it’s pretty much a list of the greatest videogames of all time. since it even includes Pong (number ten).
Now, before I go on, I have to say that I love lists, and most of [...]

I don’t know what’s more important – the fact that the Xbox 360 has such a great game in Perfect Dark Zero (PDZ) at launch, or that Rare was able to pull it together with their backs against the wall. Either way, it’s good for us gamers.
I have to say I wasn’t that impressed with [...]
